There's definitely at least a few bots. Some are under the guise of users that probably abandoned their account a year or more ago. You can tell because they have a bunch of post but haven't commented in over a year. All with title either too long or "title" and yes, theres been a major increase in the last few weeks

The "title" and truncated title posts are annoying. A lot of users will only post and never comment, though - those ones are not all bots.

The ones I'm referring to were active commenter who haven't in a year, but in the last few weeks/months have started posting again and usually with the obviously ripped off title

We should start tagging the posters in the comments and see if we get any responses.

Or flagging the guest posts

It doesn't matter, they no longer do anything about flagged posts, even those blatantly breaking rules. They don't force the NSFW cover on posts that need it.
