You could- but even if it were to fake them out and you didn’t actually do it- try explaining that note to HR. Most companies I’ve worked at, as soon as someone put 2+2 together and realized who wrote the note, the writer would be in front of a supervisor explaining themselves to what at best would be very disappointed looks saying “yes, I understand you are upset. I would be too. You’re an adult and a professional. Do I really need to tell you why just about everything you did to handle this situation was wrong?” I don’t want to be known in my career as the crazy person who makes threats about spiking food, poisoning coworkers, farming people for crimes, and brining drugs to to work- over a plate of brownies. The next question being competence- since how many times did this or similar have to happen for them to do this? They couldn’t have figured before then that 1. If they put stuff in there it will get taken, and 2. Bring the issue through official channels that would handle it..?
