And again: minimum effort will never get you out of minimum wage.
First you need to prove you're better than your job or salary and then, if you're lucky enough to work for the right company, either somebody will notice and offer you better, or you have the opportunity to apply for a better position os salary yourself.
None of those options apply if you just do what you have to. Success is based on hard work, which unfortunately doesn't ultimately mean hard work will pay out in success.
Employer declares what the wage is before he hires you,
So you should also declare what the minimum effort you intent to put into it..
Maybe then you'd not even get the job hah!!

One thing I learnt from my job is that 95%+ results is not an achievement, it's and expectation..
How long does this go on? What reason do I have to trust your word that you’ll take more responsibilities seriously, and why would I make you more important so you have more leverage next tine you throw a tantrum? Will I need to promote you and raise your salary all the way to CEO in order for you to start actually trying? I’ve already seen that you throw tantrums and “ransom” your work. Oh- you promise you won’t? Like you promised to do a job for a wage once before to me and then did the absolute minimum to collect a pay check? Why would I risk it, and why would I want to work closer with and have you be more critical to the companies success when you’ve only shown you can do the minimum and whine about it? Do you go up to hot strangers and ask for their car keys, house keys, bank pin and some sex because if they give it to you you’ll fill the role of amazing romantic partner- or do you earn those through effort? Probably neither if this is how you approach work.
You can’t control the results of your actions, but your character both helps determine and is determined by the actions you take, and that- if you have control over anything in life- that is one thing you do control. What you do with yourself. What we do today helps determine who we are tomorrow. If you work for money, if you work for someone else you will be a slave your whole life. Do the work for you. Do the job you know you’re capable of and find ways to improve yourself. You aren’t doing it for the minimum wage you’re doing it for you and your future. Entry level jobs are just that. Take whatever opportunities you are offered or move on. Why would you stay and be a burden to a company while obviously unhappy then? Go somewhere else. Do work that you can live with doing. Most of us will need a job most of our lives and will spend a good percent of our hours in life at work. Decide wether you want to define that part of yourself and your life as skating by, or as being the best you.
not a problem if you were hired for minimum wage there is a stack of resumes that can replace you and some if not all will give more than minimum effort. oh and probably not a good idea to put this place down as a reference for your next job interview. welcome to the real world.
