Unpopular opinion I guess: I actually like despacito it’s got a catchy beat and Justin bieber actually sounds good which is a huge improvement from his “baby” days
@kcat I actually don't completely dislike Justin Bieber's voice. I think it's very overhyped, but I thought that about Britney Spears and a dozen other people. Only song I've ever really enjoyed of his was "let me love you," and that was more because I found the music catchy. I just think he as a person is a grade A douchebag and I've never gotten into his music so I see no reason to start now

As for despacito... never heard it. I did read the English lyrics however which was funny because I thought it was supposed to be some sad song and it's just a song about sex
I like despacito. I first heard it in 12th grade, the time during my 1st spanish class and when I was first getting into spanish music. I first heard it in art class when my teacher turned on the radio while we worked, and I just fell in love. I personally prefer the original, fully spanish version, but I gotta commend Bieber's version for introducing me to the song.
Nowadays I still really love it, even if I prefer Luis Fonsi's other song Calypso over it now
