Some might know my Mentally Challenged cat Boogie collects Pens well one exploded lol

Lol no I walked in on her just playing away with her busted pen. She was on her back so no blue anywhere thank goodness. And yes she is PISSED I threw her pen away lol
I had to give her a new pen lol but this time it was a marker with no ink. It dried out. I am thinking of replacing all her pens with dried out ones.

If you're stealthy and quick about it. Like a ninja. Change them out before she has a chance to notice

Yes she does notice, she is not dumb just handicapped lol she has already rejected the new pen I gave her. -.-

Can you unscrew it and take the ink out of it? Then just put it back together without the cartridge?

Some yes some no. Like she has a pen shaped like a cactus it can't be fixed and she will notice if it is gone. So I just took the lid off so it dry out.

I swear to God there were days my cat wouldn't have noticed *I* was gone, but yours notices if the pen is gone <.<
