Well the one way could mean there are people with superpowers, and they happen to only be black. Other way I’m imagining all black people that exist have superpowers

The comics is pretty bad. Loads of thibgs make no sense and the world building is crap in general.

I mean if they take the X-Men approach and use superpowers/mutations as a metaphor for discrimination and the do whole "protecting the world that hates them" schtick, I don't mind. IDK if that's the case though and I don't want to do apologetics for a comic I haven't even read so I guess I'll just shrug and move on.
