No matter how warm I may be under blankets, I always get a cold from sleeping in a room that's too cold :/

Noone has addressed the issue of getting out of bed in the morning when the room is freezing cold, it makes getting up 10 times harder than it already is!

True. If one has the schedule to allow it- that is part of the appeal. Just stay in bed until it’s warmer. You’ll be cozy and likely sleep longer than otherwise. If one has a schedule requiring them to get out of bed... that’s a terrible feeling. Made more terrible in my mind when your blanket fort includes the body heat of another human or creature. But that is the nature of our physical universe. Every act of pleasure save a few precious ones has a direct price to be paid, and most all have a price of some sort that comes due. Physics. For the roller coaster to have that sweet drop or loop- it must climb a sufficiently high hill, and it cannot drop forever.
