Just so you know they already make automatic cat littler boxes that scoop the mess into a plastic box so all u do is dump the box and refill the litter.

No it sifts through it only picking up what the mess is touching. I wish I had it lol. But it is to much and 2 of my cats have mental problems so it would not be smart to use.

I'd happily waste the small amount of litter if it means I don't have to smell it nearly as often.

The key is to have enough boxes, a good brand of litter and preferably a closed litter box. Even placing an open litter box in a giant cardboard box with a door cut out works. When you replace the litter wash the box, occasionally replace the cardboard box
