I’m not smart enough to drive in England. It’s like flying a plane and being the air traffic controller st the same time.

....but you're probably one of the smartest FSers. I'm sure you could do it. Driving a manual when you're used to an automatic is understandably tough

I’ve never owned an automatic car in my life nor do I plan to, and I have owned a lot of cars. But- that not withstanding, thank you for the kind words and vote of confidence. I am perhaps being slightly hyperbolic for the sake of humor. The laws and many traffic control features used in England are somewhat alien to me. All in all, given the overall pit falls of operating a vehicle in England- especially metropolitan England- I’d just as much rather not drive on public roads there. If I were ever there long enough to justify the purchase of a proper car for the stay though.... touring the countryside in a fitting auto would be on my to do list. But I do not lust for a VW polo in gridlock so I shall stick to transit and cabs I think.

I love roundabouts. But this one mixes the direction of the driving around (if that makes sense) as far as I can see. And that’s not okay
