These are government run nursing homes, so yes the money comes from taxes. Before you go off your nut about that, think about which you would prefer, to pay a fortune in private health and the cost of education, or slightly higher taxes that ensure EVERYONE has excellent, life-long health cover and an education.
Better then being forced to get a government loan you can't pay back for 40 years that the government has to write off. Money is still just f*ing gone.
This one is in Deventer, it's called Humanitas. I've worked there last summer. In return for living there you spent 30 hours a month with the elderly, it's really nice :)
