Yes. He was keeping it as a pet on his farm. This highly territorial species; this bird that handlers most often have to approach using a swat-shield and rakes because they will stalk them around their pens. Related to velociraptors, they have killed several humans in the past, most commonly with a kick to the stomach that results in disembowelment. And he was keeping one of these as a pet. It ended exactly as well as expected.

It's not related directly to a velociraptor.... it's not even convergent evolution. They're far heavier, have a stabby claw instead of a slicy claw, are omnivorous and have derp wings. Velociraptors actually had some pretty complex arms/hands. If anything they are like a fuzzy gallimimus.
