I was once waiting to get my ears pierced and they had waxing done in the same place. While I was waiting some guy let out this awful 'im getting stabbed' scream and I jumped and looked at the receptionist and she just said "He's getting his balls waxed". So yeah, I think it's painful.

The process isn't super comfortable but it's not earth-shatteringly painful. All the other hair around there is more painful when it gets pulled out. Your actual scrotum will have more give, which seems to lessen the shock of the pull. I prefer shaving. It's faster and painless and I can do it myself.

When it said he found out where she worked, I was expecting some serious harassment. I was pleased to see that his choice was to instead one time interact with her at her place of employment in a way that is within the boundaries of her job description. Still can't say I approve, BUT I was pleasantly surprised.
