I'm not sure this was a gun store, from the pictures I'm seeing it looks like this may have been a pawn shop.

Agreed. Most gun stores don’t have random shelves of junk and bicycles.

Still probably wouldnt work. If that store knew what they where doing theyed have the chamber breach on the ARs locked to prevent loading and firing.
