Eugene was the ultimate procrastinator

"Eugene" the quotations make it sound like they have no clue what his name actually was and just started calling him that after the 8th straight month walking by his corpse

So probably Jesus came back, was killed in a hit and run and no one could identify him for 40years

That reminds me of that story of a really noob robber who died in his first rob attempt, and was then _if I recall correctly_ used as an example in a science museum, then "lost" and then used as a prop in some sort of ride (hence a lot of urban legends). He was buried more than 100 years after his death.
