In some states that's actually illegal and you will get a ticket.

Slightly unrelated, but is there a reason no law has been made banning those bright ass blue headlights that are 20% brighter or something like that? It's not far off from driving around with your brights on and I hate every single person who uses them.
I’ve had a bad history with tailgaters and those bright lights gave me my worst driving experience in my life, and I’ve had 2 accidents

My dad drove into a ditch and flooded my mom's car claiming some dude with those lights blinded him. I wasn't there so I can't confirm it but he's 64 and has bad eyesight so I'm inclined to believe him.
Hey buddy I'm glad you can see better but I fucking can't.
I had to drive for 20 minutes with those lights blinding me in all of my mirrors as I’m being tailgated in the pitch black night being followed inch for inch
On the road I was driving, at that point I’d be in a ditch or on private property at near 7 in the morning and even if I wanted too, I couldn’t due to the fact I couldn’t see ANYTHING except the light if I moved my head in any direction
I had them fanned out, and nothing but light, you have to remember he was tailgating me inch by inch so had I stopped he would have careened right into me on an interstate
I think the better question is: instead of asking people to adjust their driving to impossibly accommodate a dangerous and unnecessary feature, why haven't we just stopped installing and using this feature in the first place
I know I'm late to the party, but those lights are perfectly legal, it's just that the owner or mechanic will adjust them so that they are pointing straight ahead instead of angled down at the road, to give a false sense of seeing further (no matter what, they only have so much throw). You really can't tell if they've been altered, and made illegal in most states, unless you're right in front of them, hence why they're so hard to ticket.
I'm Australian, so I'm looking at this as a person in the slow lane, why don't the others just go around? Then, Oh yeah this is probably US or European.
technically it's the passing lane. Even if it require's speeding, speed up and pass already. No sane cop is going to realistically pull you over for passing in the passing lane unless you gun it.
Hey buddy I'm glad you can see better but I fucking can't.
