I know many men who do not enjoy such establishments. Ones enjoyment of such a place depends on what one wishes to get out of it- and wether their experience aligns to those expectations. Some dancers enjoy their craft and bring spirit to an artistic and impressive feat of well honed athleticism. Some just want money and know most men will throw it at them regardless of their trade skills simply for gyrating nude. Even the best have off days as well. Of course one may have very different experiences at the same venue, and likely a popular club on a packed night is a very different experience than a “dive” on a slow Tuesday afternoon- but you’re far more likely in the latter case to be able to engage directly with the performers and they’ll be more apt to conversation- which can be quite entreating if one is for that (of course as a courtesy one should still compensate for time spent on the clock.)

For many the basic premise and delivery of naked people is enough. For others (most others) it’s not about what happens but about fantasy and possibility- the desire to believe that something MIGHT happen, or just a general social energy and desire to be around other living humans etc etc. myself- I do not terribly enjoy the general experience even if I appreciate the art as a true artistic display is not a guarantee regardless. I may be biased as in my youth I performed security and other duties for such establishments as well as on a private as needed basis for individual performers. The personalities are probably the most interesting thing but those are a mixed bag too. I can see naked women for free whenever I desire more or less which takes much of the basic appeal away from the premise already, but having worked in the industry I am disinclined to patronize strip clubs in general.

While I'm a fan of the strippers themselves, for the most part, I dislike actual strip clubs. Having a chubber for two hours with no relief is closer to torture rather than pleasure. And that's before my wallet takes a hit.

the few dudes that i know that mess with strip clubs at all do it for the food. Apparently strip clubs being good quality restaurants as well isnt uncommon.

True! I knew a girl that would bartend at a strip club and she'd ask me to come hang out every now and then and the steaks they served at that place were unbelievable.

It felt kind of weird. Everybody is on the floor yelling at a woman with a c-scar and some broke-ass knockers while I'm talking to the bartender drinking a Yuengling and eating a rib-eye
