I can never go evil. Say I'm playing Fallout, I'll save the game, launch a mini-nuke into a town just to see what happens, and then immediately load and pretend like it never happened. In the Witcher 3 I always help those ungrateful-ass elves

I have a small rule for myself playing game like Fallout:nv is whenever I go full chaos and take out a town, I accept the consequences of such actions. Kinda adds to my realism n' such.

I've played New Vegas probably 20 times and only once done a Legion run. On any RPG I always do a good run first, then an evil run, just to see the difference.

Well- if it’s a “role playing game” I’ll usually do my main game as though the role I’m playing is me in the game world- so I try to make all the choices I think I would on the same situation- which tend to be “good” aligned choices save for some scoundrel-ry here and there.

The closest thing I will do to being an evil character is stuff like stealing and joining an assassins guild, but basically only because if it's something like the Elder Scrolls then you have to if you want to 100%. But if I have a choice to help or harm and it's mine and mine alone, my guilt complex immediately kicks in. Even today I was playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and I was riding along when some guys cut down a tree and it fell on one of them. I couldn't save the guy so I literally reloaded and avoided the area.

I'll typically play the game through the first time being good, and if I like it enough I'll play it again being evil. Infamous Second Son and Fable comes to mind. Loved those game.

Sometimes I go full psychopath, then feel bad because although I didn't actually commit those atrocities, I thought them up.

I’ll try to be evil but then remember all those fun times I had with the characters and then I just can’t do it.

None of you ever put a sim in a pool and deleted the ladder?

LOL I keep avoiding it but I'm going to have to play the Sims one day

lol. In my younger days I deleted ladders, used radios as distractions and walked sims up, it’s a long and extensive list that if Tron or Reboot were real would make me likely their universes analog to the most profane demon in their lexicon. Of course I was also a royal thug and complete trash in my younger days- but I can’t say I wouldn’t be above tormenting a sim or two on occasion if I still played the Sims.

Oh man you guys are missing out. Now that you can fully customize your sim you could make them look like whatever you want and then trap them in a basement and set it on fire. Sky’s the limit! Especially if you had played older versions you’re gonna looove it

Lmao. Without stating any bias for or against the idea of sim torture or the effigy of people- I have wanted to play the newer sims games but just haven’t had the time.
