Being in debt has never stopped Donald Trump from buying real estate. Besides- we already know he has his tried and true “borrow it all from a foreign bank and then not pay it back” trick to use in a pinch. If things get real tight- he knows bankruptcy law inside and out. He can have congress do a chapter 11, liquidate assets, he’ll step down for a nominal pay out, and the rest of America can carry the debt. It’s worked so far in the past for him at his other jobs- and look how well it turned out? He failed his way right into the Oval Office. He’s just gotta coast a couple more decades and then he doesn’t have to care what happens. Besides- being a president basically ensures your legacy so he’s covered there too. So don’t worry. This will all work out well for him no matter what. ... oh? You weren’t worried about him? Well. Then your concerns are valid.

As crazy as it seems- it isn’t the first time the US has tried to buy Greenland. Take living in the “future” with a grain of salt. It might shock someone in a coma to read certain headlines from the present- but often times it isn’t because it wasn’t going on back then- it’s because media wasn’t covering it or people just didn’t know or care to know. We aren’t just more connected to information and each other in 2019, but we are as a whole more mindful of issues and more apt to seek out information instead of simply taking what we are told at face value. A lot of the “problems of the modern age” people get worked up about aren’t new- it’s just that we live in a more open and connected world. Wait 50 years when they find out all the stuff we didn’t know was going on right now.
