How awesome is it that snow white grew up to become the fairy god mother. That is so cute.

This is a really nice rich people experience.
It'd be nice to have enough money to go to Disney often enough that the cast members of the most popular theme park on Earth know you by name.
When you live in Florida going to Disney is not that expensive. You can drive there. They give big discounts to Fl residents and if you have a family member that is a nurse or a teacher that lives in FL (to buy the tickets) it’s crazy cheap.
I guess I don’t know if all that is still true, but it used to be. You could also by an annual pass for super cheap it was about a ticket and a half.
It’s been a decade or so since I’ve been/lived in FL, so it may be different now, but it used to be super attainable to residents.
We live 4 hours away and we splurge on food and trinkets and still never spend over 1k for a 2 days at Disneyland trip. That includes hotel. If we didn't splurge on stuff and just drove there for one day my family of 3 could do it for less than 500.
That would include
Tickets
Food for day
Gas for car
But if we would buy a yr pass it would be alot less.
God I wish for a annual pass. That be a dream come true lol. But my husband -.- said if he got me that he knows he would come home one day and see I hitchhiked to Disneyland lol AGAIN! lol
I get your point but 500 for only 3 person and a day is still rich people's life. That's something my family could never afford, it's more than rent or food for a month.
When I was a kid in Florida (15-20 years ago) my single mother who made $13/hour took her two kids to Disney. It was, when the girl in the photo was going on the regular, attainable. And I can see how you might not be able to go five times a year if tickets cost $40 each time, but the season pass was like $55 (15-20 years ago).
And, I don’t want to discredit your struggle, but being able to spend $500 for a family of 3 to vacation doesn’t make you rich. Maybe it makes you more comfortable. Maybe it makes you middle class. But it is not rich. Not in the US anyway. I understand that the scale may be different in other countries.
Trust me I am far from rich. Hell it would take months and months to save the minimum 500. That is why we wait till tax return lmfao. We have a small decent vacation and the rest goes to bills.
You know if you have trouble going to Disney why not go to a 6 flags? They are full of all the things Disney has. Characters (Looney tunes and DC), rides big and small, shows, great restaurants, and gift shops. Plus they are spread throughout the us so they are more likely to be closer and cheaper.
Growing up in a large family like I did in Texas 6 flags was our Disneyland.
