Why the hell would you want to be anything like Rick? Where's the appeal in a morbidly depressed, cynical, friendless, misogynistic, alcoholic loser who doesn't care about anyone but himself, when Jerry is of average intelligence, but still cares deeply about his family, sticks to his morals, and does the right thing? I swear to god some of the men who watch this show religiously are incels in the making.
