They aren’t. The reference is to the rat eating the money as a way to undermine capitalism.

I'm not particularly fond of ATMs for a variety of reasons, but the fees aren't my major gripe. I don't like it when it's not your own bank, but THAT transaction I understand. Back in the day, buying a $400 OZ (it was like a decade ago in Texas, okay) of pot with cash was difficult due to that $200 transaction limit at ATMs.

Damn. You missed the heyday. In 2002 I was getting $25 quarters of quality stuff. Then kind bud took over the market and the prices skyrocketed.

Oh no, you miss my point. OZ's are under $200 for dank here, so the problem went away. Prices were sky high here a decade ago, now they've plummeted... I can't imagine what it's currently like in the Emerald triangle now given what THAT was around a decade ago... two handfuls for $20 from the random dude in the park instead of one!?
