I'm on my 6th day of no drinking and I've cut my cigarette intake has gone from once an hour to once every 2-2.5 hours. Next Monday I'm going to up that to 3-3.5 hours, then 4-4.5 hours the following Monday. My love/hate relationship both has tipped to me hating both more than loving them. I dunno when I'll have my next drink, not for a long time, my liver needs to heal.
It definitely is, and it's so stupid because it's such a short and light buzz... it should be so much easier! gah! It should stick this time though, because 1) I'm not drinking and 2) the hate. I can already breath quite a bit better, and I've noticed the better I breathe, the less I crave.
I've heard that quitting smoking is one of the hardest things to do, but we've all got your back (in spirit at least)
