Tell that to the stupid motherhecking kids in my apartment complex

What if I don’t plant seeds

Well I don't dig it up but I look at it ten times a day to see if it needs watering and if it has grown even the tiniest bit of leaf and I may or may not talk to it.

That doesn't really sound like an apt metaphor.
