Haha I considered it, but no. Only the first pic is from Hatoful Boyfriend. There IS a luzon-bleeding heart in the game though, but as far as I know none of the other species here specifically are part of the game
Ooh, I finally know what all the birds are, top bird is a red legged partridge(not a pigeon), the Fairy Swallow, Frillback, Lahore Shirazi, and the Pigmy Pouter are Columba livia domestica, which means they're specifically bred to look the way they do, the Luzon bleeding heart I'll cover in a substance post of its own
The partridge is actually a joke related to Hatoful boyfriend. I stumbled across the pic with the caption when I was looking for the original meme I posted about that game and decided may as well use it for PigeoNSubstance.
.
I didn't actually expect anyone to get it, but the good doctor came through for me
.
I have no idea if the Luzon's picture was used in the game or not (been years since I played it). That IS where I learned about them from, though. I may have done a post about them before because I think they're beautiful in a macabre way, but it would have been probably over a year ago so I dare say it's time for another one.
.
As for the Pourter - was my understanding that they're their own subset of pigeon with a tendency to confuse people by having some sort of balls located on their throat which people mistake for their chests. But then again I did 0 research into them, I just put a bunch of pigeons up I thought looked interesting
