The possum is going to win that fight. The eagle is already full, has no use for the screaming possum, and the possum is going to roll over and play dead and the eagle is going to be like "dafuq?" then fly away.
What's crazy is one grab from the eagle would kill the possum.
Possum: "get aWAY FROM MY FOOD I WAS HERE FIRST, THIS IS MINE, I NEED IT TO FEED THE FAMILY"

The eagle killed the deer. It hitched a ride on it's back, climbed up towards the throat, then slashed. The eagle is only coming back because it knew where the "crime-scene" was and it was hungry.
