Simp? I don’t know the exact meaning, but it’s basically a guy who’s just focused on girls, usually for sex. It’s like a mixture between fuckboy and cuck. They try to get on a girl’s good side for sex, but usually just end up, well, with nothing but a weird personality that people avoid. I think simp is short for simple.
There's a debate on whether it's short for simpleton or sympathetic.
.
I can't say if I have the exact meaning correct, but a simp is basically sort of like a somewhat more extreme version of the "nice guy" trope - instead of just being nice, they literally let women walk all over them, bend over backwards, and let the woman do whatever she wants.
.
Unlike the nice guy trope, the women more often seem to be very aware of the power imbalance, and quite happy to take full advantage of the guy in question.
.
Simps aren't necessarily cucks, though - a cuck is a guy whose girlfriend or wife is fucking other guys with his knowledge, and often times with him watching
^ that's how I understand it anyway, so if I have it wrong someone feel free to correct me

Basically spot on. I'd say a simp is necessarily a cuck if possible, though (I strongly dislike both terms, but I'll bear with them for the sake of definition) - The devotion a simp is characterized is to the degree where they'd definitely let and watch their SO have sex with someone else. The issue just becomes if the simp has a SO who wants to do that or not.
I won't say they don't exist, but I find the term is generally used (when serious) to express 'you can't be nice to women!!! if she breathes she's a thot!!! you're being used!!!', so suffice to say I'm not really a fan. (e.g. idubbbz and his plight)
Idubbbz I only learned about recently and from the sounds of it he bought his girlfriend breasts, and then she opened an onlyfans account, where she now spends a great deal of time making porn for other men in their bed (and possibly he records her?).
.
When people confronted him about why he's okay with this, his response was "what am I supposed to do???? Get out a shotgun and blast off her head??!" Which, as we all know, is the only option outside of cuckholdery, apparently
.
He then spends a good deal of time ranting in the video about a lot of other things, all of which left me with the distinct impression he is NOT actually okay with any of it, but he has to justify it because he wants to stay with his girlfriend.
.
But that was just my personal takeaway from his video. Never heard of the guy before now, don't know him from Adam, or his gf from Eve.
.
I don't really use the term much, but tbh to me he does sound like he'd fit it

Hmm, I didn't get the same out of his response. He mentioned immediately after the shotgun hyperbole that he could just break up with her, but that he's cool with it. I don't know where he went off topic, (pl. let me know if I've missed something) and he seemed fairly chill in regards to his normal, but of course I could be way off.
Again, I might be completely wrong, just my two cents.
Watched the pewds video and it seemed like a very long drawn out way of saying "I don't care about this, but I like the guy."
.
I also forgot that idubbbz essentially makes the argument that he doesn't care if people see his girlfriend's body because it's not special in any way, shape, or form (which makes me wonder why he spent money buying her boobs in the first place). And, sure, it's not special. But idk. I'd think to your significant other it SHOULD be. But if it IS just another body in his eyes, then I guess I can understand how it wouldn't matter if she uses it to stimulate other men (and women) sexually.
.
If he's fine with it then people thinking he's a simp doesn't really matter one way or the other
I personally would be not ok with my significant other showing off their body to others... UNLESS they're making serious bank with it which in that case you go on ahead and earn us enough to have a happy future
Well it's not even just showing her body off. As far as I understand it she is making actual porn using actual toys. At one point I believe anal beads were mentioned.
.
It might be a fine line to some people, but idk, to me that's a pretty big gaping ravine that i'd never be comfortable letting a S/O cross.
.
Wouldn't reach for a shotgun, but if you want to be sexual with other people you really don't need me for that, so off you go, and don't let the webcam hit you in the tits on your way out
I'd be more upset if she was going out and doing stripper work or something. Online is ok since people are only seeing her, but irl is a much different story since that means others may get the chance to put their hands on her or something, which is where I draw the line.
And I also understand where you're coming across, that's a pretty damn big thing for lots to get over, but... shit man, cash is cash, and getting naked online can bank ya a ton of money for doing so little
I'd be far more comfortable dating a stripper. Strippers by and large do provocative dance in skimpy outfits.
.
It is often illegal to touch them, and they're usually not fully naked. Not to mention lighting in strip clubs isn't exactly Hi-def. Hell, JLo and Shakira practically did stripshows at the Superbowl. As do most performers these days. They're dancing for money. Not to mention a lot of them have to put work into their craft - stay in some kind of shape, come up with routines, etc.
.
Having someone I was dating start showing off their genitals, actively interacting with others, likely taking requests, using sex toys, masturbating, etc, all online with the express intention of getting others off, in the very permanent world that is the internet... And doing it in the same bed and rooms you share with your actual SO... no thank you.
.
Not to mention it's only a matter of time before she has to start escalating to keep viewers
Maybe she will make bank. Idk. If that's what's important to her then more power to her, I guess. I'd personally never want to value making bank to the point that i'd put that kind of strain on a relationship I was in. I can't see how it would lead anywhere good. But that's just me

Also Pewds made a video. Go check them out
