FIRST
Go to sleep early. Don't think you can get extra rest by sleeping in. It doesn't work that way. Tried it for 3 decades. Doesn't work.

The best way to not wake up feeling tired is to have a set time waking up. No middle-of-the-day naps.
Go to bed at midnight, wake up at 8. Your body will naturally bring you out of the sleep cycle to wake up at 8

Indeed. Even if you go to sleep later, try to wake up either at your normal time, or at the amount of hours you usually sleep.
