I like raisins!
I eat food due to texture not always flavor due to injuries to my tongue that happen long ago.
Raisins have a texture I like.
But I don’t go around sticking them in food.
Oatmeal cookies and chocolate is the only thing I put them in.
I always add chocolate chip to my oatmeal and raisin cookies.
The best ones I make is a cake like oatmeal cookie with raisins that I coat in a chocolate Like a candy shell.
I call them Devil Mountains. Lmafo because They look like little mountains and you think wow a chocolate covered cookie than BAM! Raisins!!! lmfao
I don’t tell people why it’s called Devil Mountains till they try them. Most people assume it is due to devil’s food being chocolate.
You think that is bad my mom used to bake big batches of cookies and cakes and share them with our neighbors.
One was an elderly preacher and his wife.
He LOVED my mom and Dad lol this is the man that saw my Dad borrowed the gigantic grill from the college that is used at football games and he grabbed a plate knocked on our door and when my Dad answered the guy said SO when is the BBQ going to be ready lmfao
My Dad said tomorrow and he said ok see you than lol
Ok so my mom gave that poor man a batch of her famous molasses oatmeal cookies. They are damn near best cookies ever next to her Amish cookies.
The man saw her heading over with the cookies so he open the door before she knocked. He thanked her and ran off with them. The wife talked with my mom at the door. But as my mom left she said btw tale it easy onto those cookies. The wife said o he is fine his blood sugar was low today my mom says no I ran out of raisins so I had to use prunes. Guy was on his 4th cookie by than lol
