Honestly it's such an artsy, beautiful city, and with the alps around it...breathtaking. But the crime rates are quite high. I've seen quite some demolished cars and there were two stabbings during the 5 months I was there.
That's too bad I lived like 20 minutes away from it for 3 months but I never went there (if you come back one day, I suggest you visit Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye, it's a very small medieval village with a cool museum). I do tend to be afraid of violence but I could easily have spent a day there. Well I'll do it another time!
Hehe :) Last year they even had a scented exhibit and they put a lot of effort in their mediation, little animations etc. (I swear they're not paying me to say that.)
Yeah my anxiety tends to take stats and completely distort them, it's important to be reminded that 2 people stabbed in 5 months in a big town does not mean I'm gonna get killed as soon as I set foot there^^.
Well well duly noted I'll go in Grenoble with a shield and a bottle of soap to spend time with that cat :D
If you like stats you should look at crime per 10,000 people. Makes it easier to not be afraid. New York doesn't even hit worst 20 cities in America if you look at that.
Even after 80 years, the Germans can't help but mess with the French. (I'm kidding, of course. It's a super adorable gif, and the cat's expressions are pretty funny)
Definitely! With your art, your humour, your makeup on Halloween, your tattoos and your trips. It definitely makes for an interesting channel and I would watch it!
It's a cat café in Grenoble btw, they actually have 2 there
