You've clearly never wronged a raven or crow. Not only will they remember you, they will teach EVERYONE they know to hate you, as well. Including their children. Who in turn will teach their children. Their vengeance is passed down the bloodline for generations.

On days when I fed the crows around my house, I would see less field mice in my house. On days when I didn't or forgot to, I'd would catch 5-6 mice a day. I paid crows for pest protection.

Becoming sapient through the power of spite. Whoever said that chimpanzees were our closest relatives clearly never met a corvid.
I would like to have a good relationship with the crows, but for some reason they dislike me some of the time and avoid me the rest. The mages don't mind me, though, which is nice
Damn, that's a petty cat. My dad's friend's cat got used to having her bowl of food on the table and when they moved it back to the ground for logistical reasons, the cat peed on their heads when they slept.
I read that it's not that cats are vengeful, they just get really nervous and anxious at any changes in environment, but from all these stories it seems like they're being vengeful little shits.
Still, better than murdering entire species of animals and such.
