I don't have HBO MAX but I'm really really interested in Raised By Wolves

What is it? Because it kinda looks like Harry Potter, but I am assuming it isn't.

A Harry Potter show? Never heard there was one. (To be fair, I am just now reading the series. Almost done the last book!)

On HBO? No, they only have the films of Harry Potter. As far as I know there is no television show based off the books

Oh no I wish, but instead of the golden trio it centered around the marauders or the next group of influential witches

Well, there's also the issue of maybe they can't make an account. Haven't really seen any new faces for a good while.

Dave fixed the account thing a couple weeks ago, and it's someone who was pissed off at me for what I said about famousone. They have been doing the same thing to some other users

I find this highly ironic since Famousone had his share of silent downvotes aplenty.

There really is a certain irony to it that we spoke out loud and someone that likes famousone is quietly trying to influence the situation rather than speak up

Or the delusion that he would’ve stuck around purely to waste his time on downvoting one person in a community just to annoy them. Doesn’t strike me as petty for all his faults.

Well he literally harassed people until they left the site, so he earned any ire he received. He had an amazing capacity for starting shit and then would just start downvoting the shit out of anyone who disagreed with him, literally going straight down the list of their comments, and now someone that misses him is doing the exact same thing. It's fine to disagree with people but when you're literally telling people to "get the fuck off his website and out of his fucking country" you shouldn't be surprised that the person on the receiving end of that would report you and you end up getting barred. I never reported him because I never thought it would actually accomplish anything, but I was shocked at some of the things he told people, and this site is low on users as it is, we can't have one guy regularly making people quit the site, so I'd much rather be rid of him and have several new users

I don't miss him, I just feel a little irked at that someone who clearly had a problem with him never said or did anything until he was gone.

Also, specifically, just out of curiosity, who did he bully off the site?

I said shit constantly, to no effect. Kcat left, Camebacktosay returned after he left, and there are others that I haven't been keeping a list of

Lots of us were quite vocal about him, and people reported him all the time, but reporting someone once doesn't just throw someone off the site immediately. I think what actually got him barred was him telling @camebacktosay to get the fuck off of funsubstance. That's beyond out of lines for this site

As I said, cambacktosay reported it, the thread was removed. When a thread is removed, all the comments in it get deleted. It won't be there for you to see, along with anything else that would have been deleted by someone reporting it

I reported several posts where he acted like a jackass because it was easier than reporting each individual comment he made, when you report something and it gets removed, it's gone, there's nothing to find

It always amazed me how fast a simple discussion with him would devolve into toxic namecalling. I didn't downvote him into oblivion, I downvoted any comment he made that could cause or provoke anyone to otherwise leave or get a bad taste from the site. Knowing the history of FS, it won't stop him from making another account and doing it again if he so chooses. I would literally have had no issue with him if he hadn't said what he said. I should have screenshot the comments before reporting him.

@Famousone aside, I hate that people are always complaining about downvotes. People are under no obligation to give upvotes or refrain from downvotes. It is just a way for others to show that they agree or disagree. If someone doesn't like what you have to stay, they can downvote. It really doesn't matter. You can still say what you want to say.

Also, to a large extent, if you don't like what others are saying, you can ignore them. No one has to have heated discussions with users they think are being mean or disrespectful. So many people choose to engage with people behaving inappropriately and then wonder why they continue to do it.
