Myself and others said it going in- if you want a guy to run the country like a company... maybe don’t choose a guy with 6 or 7 bankrupt companies who wether you believe he walked away better off or not- an almost universal theme is his ex employees, partners, investors, and customers tend to not do so well. He’s a man who’s done a pretty good job taking care of himself. Thinking that self interest would translate to his office is a logical fallacy.
A supreme irony is- while popular sentiment amongst a generation has been to decry boomers and putting “old people” in charge of a future they have no stake in- so many people elected and support an (almost) octogenarian who campaigned on conservative values and is a boomer poster child. It seems America hates “Karen’s” unless they have a penis, then we elect “Karen” president.
Shower heads, mount Rushmore, tik tok etc. It's all personal grudges.
