I don’t think my mom ever kept a tree for more than one or two years. She abhors clutter and living in apartments means you have no convenient tree storage

Screw the hassle of assembling and taking down the fake ones and who needs the pine needles, fire hazard and yearly crapshoot on getting a decent real one. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of holographic trees.
