If you don’t mind me asking what is your masters in/what field are you looking to enter? Cause if it’s anything medical you should be set

I'm looking for a job in museums/cultural heritage, a field that got hit pretty hard when everything was closed. But hey I studied palaeontology before that and even then the situation in that field was much worse, so at least I got a tutorial round :D

Oh cool! Maybe you can do virtual field trips for students

That would be pretty cool! The pandemic has already led some museums to set up virtual tours or get VR Equipment. Provided they got enough money left to hire new people, I might very well get to work on stuff like that.

Depending on what field you’re in- you may not have to worry about lockdown. I know plenty of engineers, scientists, technical professionals and management workers who have had a very good market for job hunting thanks to lock down. Congrats on your masters- you’ve worked hard and I hope you get all the good things that should bring!

I had forgotten about that post, but the answer´s a big fat NO. The outside world is only a vague memory now and there are no signs of getting a place in it in the near future.

Cultural mediation! Basically we're the link between the exhibitions and the public (it includes giving tour, preparing activities and games for children, game booklets that we say are for children but everyone's welcome to try them, also creating "animations" in the exhibits). I also look for jobs in preparing said exhibits even though that's far less fun. Of course, covid isn't the best time. (and I've let my family pressure me into asking a teacher to hook me up with phd positions, which now that I've came to my senses I deeply regret).
