I've often considered picking a local crow as an outside pet, someone to say whats up to or give em some food. I've hears they have great facial recognition memory.

I have an uncle who had a friendly crow follow him around and do him favors.

I think that's called a familiar. Your uncle is probably a warlock.

I cannot say with certainty these 3 ravens come and say "hi" to me each morning, but I do know they don't shut up until I acknowledge them if I'm outside.
