How about a nice apartment, cool vacations and some pets? It's actually proven that the more income you have, the happier you are. There's a limit though. I think it was €5000 or €6000 a month or something. From that on it stagnates/drops.

I been thinking on this and I think the saying should be changed to money can only buy you temporary happiness

it really doesn't
but it give you financial freedom
which is way better/happier than "i'm going to starve"

I bet it's more comfortable crying in a mazerati then a beat up old ford.
