Well that was a spastic mind-numbing experiment. Actually googled it and somehow got met with a small brigade of nonsense about how there's no other race in the history of ever that's ever had anything similar to cornrows, that only minorities are allowed to lay claim to specific hairstyles, and at one point the outright denial that some other races even exist (and if they do they're definitely not as significant).
.
I don't think anyone is going to be happy if we only let any one specific race lay claim to the hairstyles they've decided they should be the most affiliated with. I really don't.
This is what happens when you're so desperate to claim your "race" is superior but you can't say that because you'll be called out for your racism. Instead you have to back door yourself into it by claiming things, which are usually completely arbitrary at best, only your "race" is allowed to have. This way you can claim others are racist if they violate your insensate opinions.
just a reminder that the earliest known mention (in the form of a visual depiction) of cornrows is on ancient greek statues and many european cultures had styles that braided hair down to the scalp like that, just not in exactly the same way.
