A simple little riddle

Here's the riddle I promised @snowbeast

He wrote ”your exact weight”

This seems tricky. He did not specify he won't use a scale. I'm guessing he got a scale, asked the boy to stand on it, wrote the answer on a piece of paper and gave it to the boy.

The correct answer to this riddle is ”your exact weight”, just as @lionmaster answered
