I think most relationships are unique in their problems. So context is important. If the problem is your partner is abusive or a negligent piece of shit, definitely don’t stick around.
Anything dedicated as special you-two time, according to me. So a makeshift picnic with a blanket and oreos and vanilla milk, on the living room floor also counts, according to me.
I agree about working on relationship part, but not working on a relationship is not a reason for failed relationships. Sometimes people are just monsters and sometimes they are simply not compatible. It's inevitable then. It's nice that some people get their love and they stay with them a long time, but good lord don't assume that relationships fail because people are not working on them.
