So, darkness... you got a source with actual numbers? Rather than one person's personal account and no actual analysis of the issue? Maybe even including a link to the supposed Netherlands story which is somehow supposed to represent all trans experiences?
Charlie has been contacted by 30 people in one city alone looking for help. That alleged Netherlands study barely got a few dozen hits in a couple of years.
Oh, you want information that don't come from respected sources? Sorry, all out of those.

So, famousidekick, how many is this Charlie person? And what makes them so much more credible than a couple scientific papers? And what's wrong with Stonewall's links to https://epath.eu and the study on springer.com? Oh, I know: it's not what you feel is true. Facts don't care for your feelings though.
.
Oh, and someone tell him before I hurt his feelings: Here's a link to the dutch study https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29463477/
Your point being... you only trust statistics you feel right with? What's to find in numbers if not relations? You're sidewinding and bullshitting again.
I'll spell it out for you. Stats and interpretations from source predisposed or doctored for one opinion, are no more valid or reliable than any from the opposite.
Furthermore, and this may be news to you, there's a slight difference between Britain, the Netherlands, Afghanistan, and anyplace else.
@darkness_within Oh crap, they got us there. Oh well, I guess since all numbers and statistics and science are just made up and no findings apply to anything outside of a lab we can just stop trusting in science.

There’s always also the question of would you rather detransition a live patient or visit a gravestone.

But but but... you mustn't confuse or unsettle CIS persons in the first place. Most concerns are probably secretly based on a hazy fear of getting neutered by gender-terrorists. This is basically a strawman discussion. All scientific studies clearly show that it's just a small minority who regret their transition, most of whom are unhappy with the technicalities of their new genitals.

Nevermind that Dutch experiences have no bearing on the rest of the world, or even the regions in question.
