While I'm not religious my experience with the sort who reasons like this suggests that will probably scream something about gays and pedophiles being demons and a sign of the end times.
I think you have that reversed, but I'm so confused I stopped caring like... a moment ago. Don't take it personal, it isn't... I just can't today. I went 15+ rounds with my pastor uncle and my mom called the verbal discussion as a tie simply out of pure exhaustion listening to us. The REAL joke is... he hasn't seen Infinity War, which i'm bout to put on after he shares his experiences of his time in Dallas w/ the rest of the fam. This all started about longhorns, weed, gang signs, Harvey, and Great Expectations, Hacksaw Ridge, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Oh, and wall paintings and LEGO sets. Literally nothing was how he expected besides a longhorn being a longhorn.
Edit: I really wanted to take him to Six Flags, but only got to drive him past it.
How many times does it need to be stated that Satan doesn't punish anyone? All abrahamic religions agree that Satan tricks others into committing a sin/crime, but nowhere do they say he punishes them himself
Agreed. Satan and Hades are not the same. A lot of religions have it that satan is thrown in hell as his punishment. He is a sinner and is being punished together with other sinners.
This^
the closest you'll find to Satan punishing sinners is the idea that Satan is the equivalent of a rabid dog put in a cage to stop it harming people, a small sideshow compared to the main punishment of hell, the lack of gods light and eternal damnation. If someone is being locked in the cage as punishment and a rabid dog is ALSO being locked in the same cage as punishment the dog isn't punishing the person, but them being there may cause extra grief that won't be objected to by the creator of the punishment.
