@thatguyyouknow Apparently she was fired from the Mandalorian for suggesting being Republican is similar to being a Jew during the Holocaust. Somehow they figured that was "denigrating" people for their culture and religious ideologies.
That was so hard to do. I may need a nap. Good thing I'm not Google.
She didn't suggest being a Republican was the same as being a Jew. That's the spin they put on it. She suggested that using teaching people to hate one another based on their political views is not so different from how Germany allowed it's people to terrorize the Jews long before the war broke out, and how much easier that made it for them to destroy the Jews after
@thatguyyouknow and Kings is right - this wasn't it. Which is part of why the post says this wasn't what got her fired, it's just part of the slog that led up to it. She was fired because she said the exact same things many people at Disney have said, repeatedly and loudly, but she made the mistake of being the wrong type of person while doing it.

Luckily Disney is complete garbage anyway, and there are other companies interested in working with her
@kingswitcherii It's called being helpful you dumbass. I know he could have checked himself but since I like HIM I'm willing to go out of my way. Moron.
@kingswitcherii When someone asks IRL for proof of something you said, do you also say "I'm not google", or do you act like a normal person and carry on the conversation?
If you offer a counter point and someone asks for more info, most people just give it. That's what makes a conversation.
Please, carry on with the mob mentality, while I sip from this cup made of irony.

Thanks.
