You think it’s getting better and then it comes back 20x worse

ehhhh not really. it hurts with the initial impact, but it's fine like, a minute later. the worst part is probably the weird sense of dread you get afterwards.

most guys I know make a huge fuss over it, tho, which is weird to me.

The worst part is the nausea. It makes you wanna kinda just curl up and die.
