Even according to the Bible a fetus isn't alive. The Bible clearly states life begins at the first breath. God also gave instructions on how to force an abortion. It's a pretty wacky book, but using religion to defend it falls faster than a catholic school girl on her knees ready for a blowjob.
I am also no expert on this, but even a cursory search into the issue has That sounding fairly inaccurate.
.
The bible:
.
"As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything"
.
"When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit…[saying] ‘As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.'”
.
"He did not kill me in the womb; so my mother would have been my grave”
.
Quite a few more verses as well. Granted none of these are strictly anti-abortion, but they all carry the heavy implication that life begins and exists within the mother *before* the baby is born
From a strictly scientific standpoint, however, babies technically do "breathe" in the womb. They breathe through the umbilical cord, but they also take small "breaths" starting at around 10 weeks. This doesn't get them any oxygen, mind you, because they are literally surrounded by fluid.

This also isn't me taking a stance one way or the other, just throwing these counterpoints into the void
I mean, God literally brought his son back from the dead 3 days later and then let him move into his house for eternity. So if that's your plan and within your capabilities I guess I don't have much reason to stand in your way
just sayin'
Y'all turned me against you.
Bacteria is life on Mars, but a heartbeat isn't life on Earth?
Weird"
