Generally no. However, in this instance, the person in question is literally trying to turn the country I reside in into an authoritarian state and is using tactics that were very popular in Nazi Germany. So, in this regard, while he has not reached the full extent of Hitler's atrocities, the comparison is far from entirely unwarranted.
Also I'd wager YOU haven't actually followed what's going on in this country, or half the things Trudeau has gotten up to over the years.
