6 months? Is that supposed to be old? Pretty sure I go through, with regular use, a toothbrush every few years. They certainly don't look like that after six months.

Um you should definitely be changing your toothbrush more than once every few years. Also, if it looks like that or not depends on the type of toothbrush you have and how aggressively you brush your teeth.

@lucky11 I used to replace my toothbrush every few years. I'm all they time, I never had any significant dental trouble. But, man oh man, when I started replacing my toothbrush every 4-6 months it felt amazing. There is something different about a shiny new brush. Treat yo' self!
