Also she did that when she was only 14. did you even read it? we all do stupid things when we are younger. Personally I found the whole thing very weird; especially how he still had feelings for her when she never spoke to him for years and when they did the conversation wasn't exactly ground-breaking. I think this is the story of a desperate loner who just got lucky.
Wh-what?! *furiously blushes* Oh, I'm so honored to win the Sexiest Username award! I'd like to thank Britney Spears, the inspiration behind my username, Pancakesandwaffles for supporting me, and of course, Vodka for basically giving me my win! Oh thank you all! *muah* Well, I have to go be sexy now! Toodles!
Stopped at university. I honestly should have known better...
Typical longwinded, tedious, pointless drivel, yet so many FSers gobble it up. Do you guys appreciate proper writing? I'm starting to think you only care about this trash because you like to live vicariously through the friendzone/foreveralone/etc fantasies and happy endings.
Before you downthumb me to purgatory, know that I'm genuinely curious.
When I read 'stopped at a university" I thought it was gunna be some I'm Sexy and I Know It parody..... Don't judge me!!!
Anyway dude how can you NOT like this? It's a real life happy ending and it's beautiful!
I didn't like it because it's about 2 kids with serious social issues. Not exactly riveting. Plus, I actually started thinking after block 3 that it was just someone trolling us into reading a neverending story (lul) of pointless garbage (much like the sequels).
I could, and did, write better than this (not that that's saying anything) in the third grade. Not only that, but my entire class did. This reads like it was written by some kid who has been huffing too much paint to remember what happened in his own life, and has omitted everything significant and interesting about it in his little story. All we have is some deranged "love" story which probably is just a figment of his imagination.
I want to rant on, but thinking about this is just depressing me further.
"Two kids with serious social issues" that's crap. How do you know? It could be real. It seems to good to be true and therefore seems kind of far fetched but what does it matter? It's a really nice story. I enjoyed reading it and almost everybody else who read it did too. There are a number of reasons why he,in your opinion, isn't good at writing. Maybe he was trying to get it done fast or maybe he has just never been good at writing. Whether the story is true or not it's really nice. Plus, of it's not true and he's just not good at writing like you say than he still came up with a damn good story so what does it matter? Some people are good at things and bad in others.
LOL he was trying to get it done quickly? QUICKLY???
I'm still waiting for my curiosity to be satisfied. Can nobody tell me why this deserves such praise?
And no, L&L, your last comment doesn't qualify as a reason, all caps or no.
Your not very good at making friends are you? It deserves such a praise because it's a nice story's about love that none of us would've thought happens. It deserves praise because he's telling us about something that happened in his life that is so unlikely and sweet.
For the love of everything sweet and ballsy, can someone please chime in with something that makes sense.
Love that never happens, something that happened in his life...really???
P.S. What does my ability to make friends have to do with anything? Not everyone wants to make friends with just anybody, you know.
Exactly! It's the same reason why you'd go to a wedding! It deserves praise because it's a real life love story. It's a sweet happy ending that supposedly actually happened. Anyway. Why does it matter to you if we like it? You know exactly what we mean you're just being hard headed. You can have your opinion but you don't have to be rude to the rest of us.
IF this is a real story, I'm happy for them both.
IF this is a made up tale, I'm annoyed at the creator for waiting my time.
But it's a random story on the Internet, so I doubt we'll ever know for sure, one way or the other.
*sigh*
I'm starting to get the feeling I'm never going to get an answer... :( Everyone in the topic keeps using the word "love", but all I got was "dysfunctional". Imagine what this poor sap could have done with his life if he wasn't infatuated with some random deaf/mute emo twat.
Anyway, I'll just close for now by saying, and I don't say this lightly, but Twilight was a better love story than this.
He found his other half when he was seven. I'd say he did pretty good in life. He graduated highschool and went to college. That's more than we can say about tons of other people. How do you know he didn't do anything with his life besides this? It didn't say anything about after that. Does this mean that if you fall in love with "some deaf/mute emo twat", as you put it, you won't amount to anything? Cuz that's not it at all....
Meh, I've kinda given up on this. Neither side seems to understand the other, and I don't want to waste precious daily comments on it anymore. So, to conclude...
To me, this is just poorly written, uninteresting and tortured content, whose only purpose would seem to be to hit some kind of character limit record while eliciting feels from forever aloners or people who think this kind of human interaction (or lack thereof) is normal and/or desirable.
To some of you, it's something special, and that's just the way it is.
This shows love can last through anything. Did they speak much? No, their love was so strong they didn't need words to communicate it. So what if it was long. They had a long history together, and hopefully a long future.

But, it's a good story.
