"As I have gone alone in there
And with my treasures bold,
I can keep my secret where,
And hint of riches new and old.
.
Begin it where warm waters halt
And take it in the canyon down,
Not far, but too far to walk.
Put in below the home of Brown.
.
From there it's no place for the meek,
The end is ever drawing nigh;
There'll be no paddle up your creek,
Just heavy loads and water high.
.
If you've been wise and found the blaze,
Look quickly down, your quest to cease,
But tarry scant with marvel gaze,
Just take the chest and go in peace.
.
So why is it that I must go
And leave my trove for all to seek?
The answer I already know,
I've done it tired, and now I'm weak.
.
So hear me all and listen good,
Your effort will be worth the cold.
If you are brave and in the wood
I give you title to the gold."

He has also revealed that:
1. The treasure is not associated with any structure.
2. The treasure is not in a graveyard.
3. The treasure is at 5000 ft. above sea level.
4. "The treasure chest is wet."

"A hint of riches new and old." The first thing I thought of were the Aztecs and Mayans, so maybe Central or South America? There's a lot of canyons and gorges there, right? So obviously we need to find a canyon that is close to a water source and also to a mountain. At a place with a rich history, as in literally rich. As in people there used to be very rich. Which again might reference to the Mayans, Aztecs and Inks. If it's a chest full of gold, it might be a clue, and these people were known for tons of gold.
I think the "home of Brown" is the key. Once we know what that is, we've won. Well, cocoa is brown. Mayans were the ones who invented hot cocoa, even had a god of cocoa, Kawkaw (yes I have that from Supernatural). It might be that I'm completely off the track, though. I'd have to look at this guy's biography to see what places he's visited, it might give me a big clue, but I'm too lazy for that.
Oh, my bad. I read an article about it that said that a woman who thought she solved it thought it's in the Rockies, so I interpreted it as just another theory. Sometimes I think too much and fail to notice some little details like this one.
Are there any interpretations of the clues that anyone has found? It could help us narrow down the possibilities if we subtract the ones that have already proved false.
sorry to burst any bubbles guys but ..... its all lies :( ..............

Did you even read the article? The guy commented to them that "I had not heard of the shrine until I read about it on Pam’s blog a few weeks ago."
.
That isn't the solution; he hadn't even heard of it until she mentioned it. I'm not saying there really is a chest out there, as no one could no for sure except Fenn, but this is not proof of anything.

Well if he did hide a chest and someone finds it maybe they will find it in their hearts to donate it to charity. Forrest hid the chest to leave himself a legacy for anyone to find. Let's just hope the person who finds it chooses to do something meaningful with it.
