I only have Apple TV so regardless of when it's on TV its new to me on Netflix. Plus its only 9.99 a month... How much is cable? Much more to be up to date with commercials and trash TV. I'll keep my Netflix oh yeah I also have a life outside of TV
They fucking better well be.
Some men want to watch the world burn... I'll be very happy when that part of it does.

I would travel to a network headquarters, pop popcorn and sit in a lawn chair to watch a network shut down.
maybe.. MAYBE if they completely remove ads then cable MIGHT survive. although choosing what you want to watch instead of whatever is on at the time will probably still win.
I haven't had cable for like 7 years now and I have never regretted it. We have Netflix and Amazon Prime. Shows we want to stay current with, we just buy, and we like it that way!! We're way too busy to schedule our time around shows. TV shows are for when you're done at the end of a day and ready to relax, not something to have your life revolve around.
Nowadays my family just hooks up the computer to the tv (we don't have a game console) and watch shows on netflix. I can barely remember watching a show on tv besides maybe football. It works really well and since the tv we do watch is a satellite that we bought from a store (similar to bunny ears on an old tv) our bills have tremendously dropped.
Why? Netflix sucks. Seriously. The movies are either old or direct-to-DVD garbage and most, if not all, of the TV shows are a season behind what's on TV. I can't for the life of me see the popularity. It's one of those things that popular because it's popular. The only thing worse than Netflix is Hulu. Which is somehow popular as well.
Hulu has a decent amount of shows. Yes, they have ads, but they are less than what is on television. Also, Hulu will post the show the next day. Things on last night, like OUaT, will be on Hulu today. So, not too bad.
