I wouldn't miss use it, my name may not have the word time in it, but my fav sci-fi is time travel. I would use it wisely and with extreme caution. No one needs a bootstrap paradox. They accomplish nothing.

And also, you're forgetting it's concentrated. The concentration has various strengths. Using a drop could send you throughout time an hour, or twenty thousand years. We have no way of telling how far it could send you. That is why you would mis-use it. Not because you're not trust worthy.
What makes you even think that the time is just floating in the case like liquid. Time is not a thing you can bottle. It would more likely be a divise that can transport a person or item. Or a portal that pulls you through to a different time and/or place. Sometimes it will direct you to a point of time where human emotions where high. Or seeing as the capsule is from 1957 I might be sent to that time. Maybe even to just minutes before they closed the case. And with no way back which would lead me to leave a note for myself to be open just before I open said capsule. Now question is did I just invint a bootstrap paradox or am I going to not leave a note for myself but a note for my family and freinds to let them know I am fine? Because chances are I will be dead by 2015.
